Ford Signature – a new retail look and experience that aims to provide greater transparency in sales and service for customers – debuted back in 2019, replacing traditional deal desks with purchase rooms that have shared screens and monitors with vehicle service prices, video feeds of the service garage, and celebration areas for new vehicle delivery. Now, just a few months after debuting a brand new dealership showroom floor concept in Mexico dubbed Boutique Signature 1.0, the Ford Signature experience is expanding in that very same country yet again.
The new Ford Signature 1.1 concept focuses on transforming the customer experience and brings Ford Gema Veracruz onboard as the third distributor in that country, as well as the very first in that particular state. Ford Signature 1.1 is designed to introduce the next level of customer service to both Mexico and China, creating a unique environment that better integrates the shopping experience as a whole.
Ford Gema, the first Ford Signature 1.1 distributor in Veracruz, recently reopened its doors with a full array of the automaker’s products as part of the new program, which takes into account cultural, gender, social, physical, and psychological concepts to provide customers and employees with an innovative space full of warm, cozy, modern, and avant-garde finishes that allow them to enhance their interaction at the time of purchase.
“Mexico is the second region to receive the Signature 1.1 concept, only behind China, allowing us to demonstrate that we are gradually moving towards the new era of the company,” said Luz Elena del Castillo, CEO and President of Ford of Mexico, Puerto Rico, Central America, and the Caribbean. “Today, I am filled with emotion and pride to see Ford Gema Veracruz become the third distributor nationwide to adopt this design, since in addition to being our business partner, it is a fundamental part of our commitment to Mexico, and this inauguration continues to prove it.”
