After receiving a thorough refresh for the 2022 model year, the 2023 Ford Expedition gets a handful of minor changes to the full-size SUV, including the deletion of the universal garage door opener from the base XL trim and one-pedal drive as standard on the more rugged Timberline. Regardless, customers can opt for a wide variety of wheel options for the 2023 Expedition, and below, Ford Authority breaks down all ten available rollers, right down to applicable trim levels.

To start, the 2023 Expedition gets a set of of 17-inch steel rollers as standard on Special Service Vehicles (SSV) and fleet models only. Next, we see the 18-inch Machined-Face aluminum wheels with Magnetic painted pockets, which are standard on XL and XLT trims, while also being included in the XL Heavy Duty Tow Package. Additionally, these wheels are optional on the base Expedition XL SSV without the Heavy Duty Tow Package. Finally, the 18-inch High Gloss Black painted aluminum wheels are standard on – and exclusive to – the 2023 Ford Expedition Timberline.

The next trio of wheels are available for the Expedition XLT trim, starting with the optional 20-inch Sparkle Silver aluminum wheels. Meanwhile, the 20-inch six-spoke Gloss Black wheels appear to be a dark-painted version of these wheels; they can only be outfitted on the Expedition XLT as part of the optional Black Accent Package. Finally, the 20-inch Bright Machined aluminum wheels with Dark Carbonized Gray painted pockets are also exclusive to the XLT trim as part of the Special Edition Package.

These next two 22-inch wheels are identical, but they have one small but important difference. They are both 22-inch six-spoke Polished aluminum wheels, but the first features The Blue Oval insignia on the center cap, while the second sports the King Ranch “Running W” logo instead. The former is optional on the 2023 Ford Expedition Platinum, while the latter is standard on the King Ranch trim.

The flashy 22-inch 12-spoke Polished aluminum wheels are optional on the Limited trim while being standard on the Platinum trim. Finally, the 22-inch Premium Black painted aluminum wheels are only available as part of optional packages for the 2023 Ford Expedition Limited, and are included as part of the Limited Stealth Edition or Limited Performance Edition packages.
