2023 Ford F-450 Super Duty Chassis Cab XLT: Photos

The 2023 Ford Super Duty was officially revealed back in September, and in the months since then, Ford Authority has spotted the brand new pickup out driving around in all sorts of colors, configurations, and trim levels. That list includes more than one chassis cab model, including an F-350 XL and an F-600 XL. Now, Ford Authority has come across yet another version of the redesigned pickup in this same configuration – a 2023 Ford F-450 Super Duty chassis cab finished in XLT trim.

The 2023 Super Duty represents a total redesign of the venerable pickup, complete with new exterior and interior styling, an all-new head-up display (HUD), as well as a brand new cab, bedside steps, and a tailgate step, the latter of which doesn’t impact the truck’s approach and departure angles, as Ford Authority recently reported. Additionally, the new Super Duty features a revamped engine lineup as well.

This particular 2023 Ford F-450 Super Duty chassis cab XLT model is a bit different than the previously-spied XL variants, as it includes a variety of upgraded equipment compared to those bare-bones models. On the outside, that includes the presence of a chrome front bumper, as well as 18-inch Argent-painted steel wheels. On this particular Super Duty, there is also a weighted box strapped to the rear to simulate a load, too.

Inside the cabin, the XLT gets a cloth 40/20/40 split bench in the front with a center armrest, cupholder, and storage, as well as two-way adjustable driver/passenger headrests, sun visors with covered mirrors, color-coordinated, carpeted floor mats and full carpeting, front map pockets for Regular Cab and SuperCab models, front and rear map pockets for Crew Cab pickups, rear privacy glass, and both 120V and 400W power outlets.

Additionally, XLT trimmed 2023 Super Duty models also come equipped with manually telescoping and folding trailer tow mirrors with power and heated glass, an AM/FM stereo with an MP3 player and four or six speakers for Regular Cab models or six speakers for SuperCab and Crew Cabs, and a dual battery setup. Finally, the naturally-aspirated Ford 7.3L Godzilla V8 is also standard equipment on chassis cab models.

Consumers showed immediate interest in the 2023 Ford Super Duty following its debut, as The Blue Oval took a significant 50,000 orders in the first week order banks were open – a number that grew to 150,000 by the end of November. Initial Job 1 production of the brand new pickup will begin in early 2023 for XL, XLT, and Lariat trims in all cab configurations, engines, and series, from the F-250 up to the F-600. Meanwhile, Job 2 2023 Super Duty production for King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims will follow in the spring, though it’s worth noting that many options are listed as late availability.

Great vehicle, however. I am requesting a dialog with development of a chassis 650-750 EV models as conduit for up and becoming US Patent mobile communication vehicle. We have chosen FORD. Please have someone to contact me at 252-484-2543, as soon as possible. We will be needing production, especially with EV for our government customer.

    Thanks
