The 2023 Ford Ranger gains two new colors for the forthcoming model year: Eruption Green Metallic Tri-Coat and Azure Gray Metallic. Here’s a first look at the Azure Gray Metallic color.
Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat is tagged with paint code G4. This exterior paint color adds $995 to the overall cost of the 2023 Ford Ranger, and can be added to XLT and Lariat trim levels only. It is not offered at all on the base Ranger XL trim. It is available in conjunction with Ebony as well as Medium Stone interior colorways. As a reminder, the following list comprises all available color options for the 2023 Ranger:
- Cactus Gray
- Carbonized Gray Metallic
- Iconic Silver Metallic
- Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat

Finally, all available interior colorways are as follows:

While it gains two new color options, the 2023 Ford Ranger loses four colors that were previously offered for the 2022 model year. Avalanche, Cyber Orange Metallic, Desert Sand and Forged Green Metallic will not carry over to the 2023 Ranger. Additionally, it’s worth noting that Eruption Green Metallic Tri-Coat is only available in conjunction with the all-new Splash Jungle Edition Package, offered only on models outfitted with the Lariat High equipment group.
Order banks for the 2023 Ford Ranger opened in July, giving U.S. customers one last change to snag a current-generation model for themselves. While the second-gen Ranger has already landed in overseas markets such as Europe and Australia, it will enter the North American market as a 2024 model year vehicle, bringing overhauled exterior styling to the midsize pickup range. In fact, Ford Authority has already spotted a prototype out testing.
