Ford Bronco Discount Again Non-Existent In January 2023

For yet another month, The Blue Oval is not offering any Ford Bronco discount or incentive in January 2023. This is not unexpected, considering that there is extremely high demand for Ford’s off-road SUV amid low supply, as has been the case since the vehicle launched in 2020 for the 2021 model year.

Ford Bronco Discounts

For the sake of context, we’ve provided a summary of Ford Bronco discount offers (or, perhaps more accurately, the lack thereof) throughout 2022, as well as thus far this year:

Ford Bronco Incentives in 2023

  • January – no incentives

Supplier issues have certainly wreaked havoc on The Blue Oval and the greater automotive industry, as automakers continue to struggle with supplier issues. As a result, many Ford Bronco reservation holders have been waiting months – and in some cases, as long as two years – to receive their off-road SUV. In order to answer this demand and honor existing reservation holders, Ford has limited how many inventory units it’s building, instead focusing the majority of its efforts on building existing customer orders. Additionally, 2023 Bronco orders are restricted to existing reservation or order holders to ensure that they finally get their rugged ponies.

The Bronco’s popularity is evidenced by its sales figures. In fact, the off-road SUV outsold the highly popular Toyota 4Runner in the third quarter of 2022, while closing the gap on the segment best-seller Jeep Wrangler. To that end, a solid portion of these sales were to reservation and eventual order holders, indicating that the Bronco could sell even more if dealers had vehicles available in inventory (and on the lot) to sell.
