You Could Win This 2022 Shelby Super Snake Speedster

The 2022 Shelby Super Snake Speedster is a limited edition high-performance vehicle built to commemorate what would have been Carroll Shelby’s 98th birthday. As such, just 98 examples of each model year are built, making it a rare vehicle for sure. Available by reservation only, the Super Snake starts at $140,270 – but there’s one unit up for grabs for a more affordable fare, thanks to a sweepstakes from KC Aviation STEM, Inc.

This particular Shelby Super Snake is one of a kind, sporting a one-of-one patriotic livery featuring red, white and blue exterior accents topped by a silver racing stripe down the center of the hood and blue star graphics along the vehicle’s rear. Its powerhouse is certainly as bold as its paint scheme suggests, producing a blinding 825 horsepower. It was custom designed and built by Shelby designer Vince LaViolette, with “Wings of Pride” graphics on both doors in honor of the cause its proceeds will benefit.

It also features Shelby engineered body components, aluminum widebody front fenders, a metallic Shelby Super Snake ram-air hood with functional vents, a unique front fascia and F-16 aircraft inspire wheels featuring motifs of the plane. Inside, it boasts a custom Katzkin interior upgrade, custom floor mats and other unique touches.

“When you enter to win the sweepstakes for the Wings of Pride Shelby, you not only have a chance to win this one-of-a-kind car, you also have a 100% chance of helping kids,” said Kerry Floyd, KC Aviation Stem Executive Director. “This sweepstakes is a win-win for all parties involved.”

All proceeds benefit KC Aviation STEM, which supports aviation-focused STEM educational projects for school-age children in the Kansas City area. The Wings of Pride Series raises funds for charities focused on children. The sweepstakes for this Shelby Super Snake will run through April 22nd, 2023, and a winner will be drawn one week later on April 29th. The drawing will take place at the Shelby American Heritage Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Those that wish to to enter should use promo FORDAUTHORITY to score bonus entries.

I owned a 2020 Shelby super snake built by Shelby in Las Vegas. It was very fast. It was also in the shop for weeks at a time repairing what Shelby screwed up. Never again own anything Shelby has touched.

I currently own a 2008 Rousch Speedster, with only 11,000 miles. Just happens to be # 1 of 100 built. No issues with this pony.

Even at FREE it’s no thanks for me. Looks like a UK flag threw up on a perfectly good white Mustang.
