The Lincoln Corsair was treated to a refresh for the 2023 model year, adding some updated styling, the luxury brand’s ActiveGlide hands-free highway driving feature, new interior themes, and a 13.2-inch infotainment screen running Sync 4, among other changes. In a hyper competitive segment, the Corsair has performed rather well, most recently finishing third in sales in the fourth quarter of 2022 with an 11 percent share of the market. Sitting right behind it in fourth place was the Cadillac XT4 with a nine percent share, training its rival by just a few hundred units. Now, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 has been revealed as an updated luxury C-segment crossover that’s aiming to narrow that gap even further.
The refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 has quite a few tricks up its proverbial sleeve, starting on the outside, which has received revised styling at the front and rear. In addition to new headlights, the XT4 also gets new wheel designs and three new exterior colors – Emerald Lake Metallic, Midnight Sky Metallic, and Deep Sea Metallic. The trim lineup remains the same, however, and consists of Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport models.
Inside the cabin, the star of the show is a new 33-inch, 9K-resolution LED color touchscreen inspired by one present in the all-electric Lyriq, along with a 13-speaker AKG audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, and some fresh choices of materials that include brushed aluminum trim, Piano Black, wood, and carbon fiber.
Aside from the typical bevy of standard safety equipment, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 offers no changes in terms of powertrains, which means that it comes equipped with GM’s turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY engine, which sends 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque to either the front or all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission.
2024 XT4 production is scheduled to kick off at GM’s Kansas City plant in April, with deliveries beginning in the summer, but the automaker hasn’t released pricing information just yet.

Finally, an interior up to Cadillac standards on the XT4. No more chevy rental car interior! Now if the side profile could have changed so it does not look like the Mitsubishi CrosSomething.
A Cadillac, or as we used to call them Crapillac, could Never be as nice as a Lincoln! Years ago, my ex husband always drove a Cadillac (Usually Cpe De Villes or Eldorado’s) I always drove a Lincoln Mark IV ~ X…. The ride for one was no comparision, as my Lincoln’s were so much nicer, and the features (options) as well. Funny his Caddy’s always had some sort of issue either electrical or something…and my Lincoln’s would just be perfect all the time! Ford/Lincoln Quality is Job #1
