The Ford F-150 Raptor has been a highly sought-after vehicle for well over a decade at this point, and hasn’t lost any steam in recent years, either. The off-road focused pickup retains its value better than most, and also frequently trades hands via various online auction sites as a true enthusiast vehicle. In recent months, that list includes this Roush 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, as well as this regular 2014 model with just 1,400 miles on the clock. Now, yet another Roush 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor has emerged for sale at Bring a Trailer, and it has just 1,400 original miles, too.
This particular Roush Raptor is actually a Special Edition example that was shipped to Roush Performance in Livonia, Michigan, fitted with the Roush Off-Road Package, then sent back to Rogers Ford in Midland, Texas. For reasons unknown, the pickup has barely been driven over the past nine or so years, and as such, looks pretty much brand new.
On the outside, this rugged SuperCab pickup is finished in Ruby Red Metallic paint, and features all of the typical Raptor goodies such as wider fenders, a “Ford” script grille,” a power dome hood, and 17-inch beadlock capable wheels wrapped with 315/70 BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires. Roush badging on the outside and inside the cabin – which features two-tone black and Brick Red leather – identify it as something a bit more special than the average F-150 Raptor, however.
Under the hood, Roush added its own 2.3L TVS supercharger to the truck’s Ford 6.2L V8, along with revised intake manifolds, high-flow fuel injectors, an air-to-water intercooler system, an open-element air intake, cat-back exhaust, and an ECU tune – all of which boosts output to an even 590 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, which flows to the wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.
All of those goodies added $11,899 to the MSRP of this F-150 Raptor, which cost $56,010 new. However, the truck has already been bid up past the $50k mark with a few hours to go, so it may wind up matching or exceeding that when the hammer falls.
