The collection of Ford Ranger parts and accessories that fills the Ford Performance catalog has grown exponentially in recent years, most recently consisting of an ARB off-road front bumper, a skid plate kit, and black or chrome exhaust tips. Now, that same catalog continues to grow following yet another new addition – the 2019-2023 Ford Ranger “Old Man Emu” overland suspension kit, which is already sold by ARB as well.
The 2019-2023 Ford Ranger Old Man Emu overland suspension kit is a rather comprehensive offering consisting of shocks, struts, coil springs, leaf springs, and all of the necessary installation hardware, and it’s also far more than just a lift kit – though it does provide 2.5 inches of additional ground clearance.
Rather, this new suspension kit is designed to provide excellent performance on all sorts of terrain, as well as increased load carrying capability, smoother ride quality, and improved handling in all situations. Of course, the main purpose of this particular upgrade is to enhance the off-road capability of the Ford Ranger, however, but its extra load carrying capacity makes it great for overlanding, specifically – when owners typically carry tons of gear such as tents and rack systems in the bed.
The 2019-2023 Ford Ranger ARB Old Man Emu overland suspension kit is sold in the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-18000-RO, and retails for $1,850. For those that intend to transform their stock mid-size Blue Oval pickup into something they can take off-road and live in for days or weeks at a time, it’s certainly an appealing upgrade for a number of reasons – whether that be its increased capability navigating trails, or it’s ability to help support heavy loads.
We’ll have more new parts and accessories to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford Ranger news and continuous Ford news coverage.
