2023 Lincoln Nautilus: Here’s What’s New And Different

The 2023 Lincoln Nautilus carries on into the fifth model year of its first generation without any major changes or updates. In fact, the only difference between the 2023 Nautilus and its 2022 model year predecessor is the addition of a new exterior color, the deletion of another, and a subwoofer delete option.

2023 Lincoln Nautilus Model Line

There are no changes to the 2023 Lincoln Nautilus model line. As such, it continues with the same three trim levels as its prior model year, starting with the entry level Standard trim, followed by the mid-tier Reserve trim, and finally, the Black Label trim continues to represent the range-topping model.

2023 Lincoln Nautilus Exterior

The 2023 Lincoln Nautilus gains one new exterior color, while it has lost another.

2023 Lincoln Nautilus Interior

The 2023 Lincoln Nautilus gains the Premium Audio Subwoofer Delete Option, which allows (or forces) buyers of the luxury crossover to forego  the vehicle’s subwoofer if supply does not exist to include it. This only applies to vehicles that are outfitted with the Premium Audio System, which is standard on the Nautilus Standard and Reserve. It does not affect the Nautilus Black Label, which is outfitted with the Revel Ultima Audio System as standard.

Aside from that, the 2023 Nautilus interior remains unchanged in terms of available colorways, features and technologies.

2023 Lincoln Nautilus Mechanical

The 2023 Lincoln Nautilus sees no changes to its engine lineup. As such, it carries on with a choice of two engine options. The first is the turbocharged 2.0L I4 EcoBoost engine, which is standard on the Nautilus Standard and Reserve. This engine puts out 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, harnessing FoMoCo’s eight-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel-drive as standard or all-wheel-drive as an extra cost option.

The twin-turbocharged 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine is also optional for the Nautilus Reserve, and is the exclusive engine for the Nautilus Black Label. This powerhouse is rated at 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, and also mates to the eight-speed automatic transmission. Opting for the boosted six equips the Nautilus with all-wheel-drive.

2023 Lincoln Nautilus Packages

There are no changes to the packages available for the 2023 Lincoln Nautilus, meaning that it does not see any additions or deletions from its package lineup.

2023 Lincoln Nautilus Availability

The 2023 Lincoln Nautilus is built at the Ford Oakville Assembly plant in Canada. Order banks opened in July 2022, and production of the luxury crossover is expected to continue until late 2023.

However, looking ahead, the future of the Lincoln Nautilus is murky. The Oakville plant will be retooled to facilitate the production of EVs, effectively leaving the Nautilus without a North American production facility. While this could potentially signal the end of the Nautilus for the North American market, a next-generation model was recently leaked in China, although at this time, it’s unclear if this model will be offered stateside.

    1. Oh give it a break.

If you’re going to level such an accusation you might as well accuse almost all of western industry.

Your selective approach makes you look like an idiot.

  2. The “standard trim” wheels from last year are replaced with the “reserve” version – both models now come standard with those wheels.
