The forthcoming 2024 Ford Mustang gains three new exterior colors, including Yellow Splash Metallic, Vapor Blue Metallic and Blue Ember Metallic. Here’s a first look at the new Yellow Splash Metallic hue, as well as its availability across the all-new pony car’s lineup.
Yellow Splash Metallic is tagged with paint code RH, and represents one of 12 exterior colors available for the all-new pony car. As a reminder, the following list comprises all available exterior colors for the 2024 Ford Mustang (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
- Grabber Blue Metallic (AE)
- Atlas Blue Metallic (B3)
- Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (D4)
- Shadow Black (G1)
- Dark Matter Gray Metallic (HY)
- Iconic Silver Metallic (JS)
- Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7)
- Race Red (PQ)
- Oxford White (YZ)
- Vapor Blue Metallic (new for 2024) (K1)
- Yellow Splash Metallic (new for 2024) (RH)
- Blue Ember Metallic (new for 2024) (E1)
The trim levels available for the 2024 Ford Mustang are as follows:
- EcoBoost
- EcoBoost Premium
- GT
- GT Premium
- Dark Horse
- Dark Hose Premium
Finally, the following list shows all available interior colorways:
- Deep Indigo
- Black Onyx
- Space Gray
- Emberglo
- Carmine Red
It’s important to note that Yellow Splash Metallic is only offered on EcoBoost and GT trims, and is not offered at all on the range-topping Dark Horse. For the EcoBoost and GT, Yellow Splash Metallic is available in conjunction with all interior colorways, and does not cost extra to outfit on the all-new pony car. In fact, Ford Authority has already spotted a real-world example wearing the color.
Order banks for the 2024 Ford Mustang are now open, finally allowing customers to order the seventh-generation muscle car, which was revealed back in September of last year. The forthcoming Mustang represents a complete generational shift, featuring a completely overhauled exterior and interior, along with a host of new tech and engine options. As far as powerplants go, the turbocharged Ford 2.3L EcoBoost I4 engine and the Ford 5.0L Coyote V8 engine are brand new for the 2024 model year. The former will be available in the base 2024 Mustang EcoBoost. The latter is also harnessed by the high-performance 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse.

Love the color but isn’t splash yellow something you get yelled at for not lifting the seat?
This is funny…. unfortunate…. but funny!
Breathless. Even more so by the 70k plus configured price of an average equiped Dark Horse
Reminds me too much of mid 2000s Camero’s with green strips
You left out Dark Matter Gray
