2024 Ford Mustang Order Banks Open, Along With Build & Price

The all-new S650 generation 2024 Ford Mustang was revealed last September following years of rumors, speculation, and, well, waiting. By all accounts, the latest pony car was worth the wait, however, ushering in a new era for the iconic model with brand new styling inside and out, as well as next-gen powerplants and the addition of a new range-topping variant – the Dark Horse. Now, the wait to order a 2024 Ford Mustang is also finally over as well, according to Ford North America Product Communications director Mike Levine.

2024 Ford Mustang retail order banks are now officially open, which means that interested customers can go ahead and place one with their preferred dealer today. Additionally, the official build and price page has launched online, which means that those thinking about ordering one – or just conjuring up their dream S650 in virtual form – can also do precisely that.

In addition to the aforementioned updates, the redesigned 2024 Ford Mustang also features a host of smaller revisions for the new model year, too. That includes the discontinuation of multiple optional packages – the Coastal Limited Package, Ice White Appearance Package, and Stealth Package. The new pony car also won’t come equipped with AM radio functionality, either. Meanwhile, the 2024 Ford Mustang is gaining a few nifty features, including standard rear parking sensors and mirror-mounted USB ports for Premium-trimmed models.

In terms of availability, the all-new, redesigned S650 generation 2024 Ford Mustang will continue to be produced at the Flat Rock Assembly plant in Michigan, and is currently scheduled to launch in the U.S. this summer, followed by Europe later in the year.

  1. I just optioned a Dark Horse up with stuff comparable to my 2020 GT350. Of course, it came with a few more high tech details that wouldn’t matter much to me. Total? $11,000 more than my sticker price and more than $12,000 over what I paid. No regrets on my deal… Inflation folks, it’s for real.

  7. I thought Ford was attempting to reign in the dealers from their excessive markups over MSRP? I looked at a 150 Lightning the other day and the dealer had a 25K dealer markup plus 5K of worthless items on the extended price beyond MSRP. And let’s not forget, fundamentally we are talking about a pickup! If you are going to talk about spending $120+k for a car/pickup, there are lots of better options beyond anything Ford makes.

  8. Would only be interested in a convertible which you can’t order.
No AM radio? Really? Is that a woke slap at conservative talk radio?
Really like the S550 styling, but the S650 in some angles seems to morph into a Dodge.
