Since the international version of the all-new, redesigned Ford Ranger was revealed last year, Ford Authority has spotted numerous examples of the North American variant of the next-generation mid-size pickup out driving around ahead of its launch later this year for the 2024 model year. That includes multiple 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor pickups – as the high-performance off-roader will be sold in the U.S. for the very first time – including one covered in heavy road salt and a much cleaner white model, while a recent leak also showed off the new Ranger Raptor rolling off the assembly line at the Michigan Assembly plant. Now, Ford Authority has spotted yet another example of the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor – this one, which is finished in Hot Pepper Red.
As was the case with the previously-spied Ranger Raptor pickups, this one features familiar styling cues such as flared wheel arches, a front grille with “Ford” lettering, C-clamp headlights, matrix LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, functional air vents, cast-aluminum side steps, LED taillights, and unique 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires.
This particular Ranger Raptor is not equipped with the “Raptor” graphic previously seen on the rear portion of its bedsides, though it does have “Ford Motor Company” lettering on the doors, a common sight on certain prototypes. Inside the cabin, the next-gen pickup features front sports seats, Code Orange accents, a 12.4‑inch all-digital cluster, and a 12-inch vertically-oriented center touchscreen running Sync 4A.
In terms of powertrains, the new Ranger Raptor utilizes the twin-turbocharged Ford 3.0L V6 EcoBoost, which produces 392 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque in every market except for Europe, where it generates 284 horsepower and 362 pound-feet, and Argentina, where the pickup generates 397 horsepower. In all markets, the mid-size off-roader pairs that powerplant with the 10-speed automatic transmission.
Barring any unforeseen changes, the North American-spec 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor – which slots in the lineup above the Tremor – seems to be essentially identical to its international brethren in many ways.
FoMoCo has already ramped up production of the new model in those markets, and given the fact that this will mark the very first time American buyers can get their hands on a Ranger Raptor, it should prove to be quite popular in that part of the world, too.
We’ll have more on the 2023 Ranger Raptor soon, so be sure to subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford Ranger news, Ford Ranger Raptor news, and continuous Ford news coverage.

Will the 2024 Ranger have a sunroof as a option?
Doubt it. The basic cab structure doesn’t appear to be much different and the previous model didn’t have a moonroof option.
Really?! What a joke
It is. Also, you can get one in a Maverick, which is why I’m hoping one will be offered in the Ranger.
That’s unfortunate. Especially for a redesigned model.
I’ve had a 2023 Ranger Lariat on order for over two months. It appears all of the “PRESS” is about the 2024 model.
So when will Ford build the 2023 back log??
I’m so disapointed that after over two months I still do not have a build date on my 2023 order…
Just wait until you drive it with that 4 cyl turbo and wonky transmission…
There is a reason they should have gone with the turbo V-6 across the board.
There has been evidence recently that suggests the non-Raptor Ranger will be available with both the 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost and the 2.7L V-6 EcoBoost although the V-6 may only be available in the higher trim levels such as Lariat and Wildtrack, assuming we get the Wildtrack.
Imagine they’d convert them to 2024 orders at a certain point.
It took me 4 1/2 months to get my ordered 2022. It was worth the wait!
It took 9 months to get my ’22 model built. Your dealer should’ve explained this.
My 22 Ford Ranger order took 6 months!
My 22’Ranger took 4 1/2 months and I didn’t get a build date till almost at the end of the 3rd month.
My 2.3L and the 10 speed auto work smoothly 👌 .
when is 2024 ranger gonna be available?
Motortrend states the 2024 Ranger build date has been moved to July 10th, previously it was scheduled for this May. NO telling though, maybe the Ranger Raptor is for that July date and the non Raptor for May.
Ford is the greenest marketing company. Over promise and hardly deliver. Look at the bronco, I’ve been in q for 2 years. A great recreation of original. But very pricey for what you get as far as options and Quality of materials and yes it’s an offroad vehicle. The ranger looks good. The ranger raptor looks like a full size raptor, it’s just plain over done and it lacks any creativity. It just looks outdated as its been around for a while. I give ford credit as there trucks are usually on very old platforms, much like the Toyota – old but they make them look good, cudos to them as how make money and usually a reliable vehicle like the tacoma that finally is getting disc brakes!
After ages the newly redesigned Tacoma was launched 3 days ago and it looks awesome. This Ranger design is kinda weak compared to GM’s new Colorado/Canyon and the new Tacoma.. that said, press says you can fit 4×8 sheet material between the Ranger’s wheel arches, 48.2″, game changer for a small truck.
