The Ford Authority Take

Ford Argentina sales began the 2023 calendar year with a strong increase in January, adding more than 2,000 units in sales compared to the same month of the previous year. In fact, the 4,540 deliveries reported in January represent one of the best monthly levels of performance in recent history, as well as the second consecutive increase for The Blue Oval brand in the South American country.

Ford Argentina’s best performer in January was the best-selling Ford Ranger, which registered a substantial triple-digit increase that not only reinforced its position as the brand’s popular model, but also made it the fifth best-selling model within the entire Argentine market when ranked by sales. The performance of the locally-built midsize pickup also represented one of the best ever monthly results.

The Ford EcoSport and Transit also performed well, while sales of the Maverick positioned it as the brand’s second best-selling model. Interestingly, the discontinued Ford Ka also posted a sales increase in January though to a low 12 units.
