And, due to the production shutdown, there are NONE on dealer lots (few, if any, leftovers too). Such a deal.

Agreed. I ordered an Escape and Corsair in September 2022 to see which would come in first. They keep pushing back production dates every week. 3 months after December launch , they have build no retail orders. I am going shopping for a new Kia or Hyundai next week . If I find one I will buy it . At this rate my orders will come in May if I am lucky. So then the new 2023 will be a year old in another 3-6 months when the 24 models come out . I am done with Ford , they can’t build anything but trucks , they don’t care are all , and can’t fix quality issues. The Escape plant only built 3,000 employee and test vehicles in 3 months . That’s less than a weeks production at a slow rate. They should sell out to someone who knows how to build and design vehicles , as they don’t know how anymore

I am with you. I was going to buy a KIA PHEV and thought I would give the Ford Escape a try. The last Ford I owned was in 1973. Now I know why! Fix Or Repair Daily

        I own a 2020 KIA Telluride. Now there’s a vehicle.

I ordered on November 14th and was given a VIN in January. Due to the shutdown my build date has been pushed back a few weeks but according to people at blue oval forums some customers have their car built with anticipated ship dates in early April. So, it looks like things are finally moving. Hopefully they don’t have any more set backs with production.

You are going to find the same problem with other car manufacturers. No cars are being built right now…Rav4 Prime has a 2 year waitlist in some cases. I’ve looked at alternatives and the few that I am in interested in have extensive wait lists or just cost way too much!

Discounts on them even though they haven’t built a single customers vehicle yet. I ordered ours back in mid October. The only thing I’ve heard is that they’re not building orders yet. SMH Ford shouldn’t launch a vehicle before it’s ready. Slap a different color paint on the 2022’s and sell them. At least people could receive a vehicle.
