Ford Performance Racing School Adds More Dates To Schedule

In many parts of the U.S., spring has already sprung, which means one thing – it’s time to get our prized rides out of storage, shine them up, and get them back on the road. Of course, there are many other things to look forward to as the weather gets warmer and the ground begins to thaw, including new dates at the Ford Performance Racing School. Back in January, this special school added some spring dates to its calendar, but now, those looking to sign up for a class between the months of April and September can do so, too.

These new Ford Performance Racing School dates – all of which apply to the organization’s home base of Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina – include April 21st, May 15th, June 24th-25th, June 30th, July 14th, July 29th-30th (for under the lights sessions), August 11th, and September 22nd-23rd (under the lights).

These classes are offered as both one-day and two-day sessions in specially-prepped Ford Mustang GT models. The one-day class costs $1,795 and includes a classroom session and track orientation laps covering everything from heel and toe shifting to cornering, vehicle dynamics exercises, and three track sessions lasting 20 minutes each.

Stepping up to the two-day class costs $3,795 and adds more track time, to the tune of five additional 20 minute stints on day two, where drivers can spend some more time putting their newfound skills to the test. Finally, an advanced day driving school class is available for $2,895 that includes a 2:1 student to instructor ratio, two classroom sessions, and two full hours of track time, all of which is designed to help students take their skills to the next level. Those interested in signing up for one of these classes can do so by heading over here.
