The 2024 Ford Mustang represents a complete generational shift for the iconic pony car, ushering in all-new interior and exterior styling, a revised powertrain, model line and more. Ford Authority has kept a close eye on the 2024 Mustang as its launch looms closer, right down to its pricing – even for the Dark Horse – and when its order banks opened for interested customers. Now, we’re taking a deep dive into the 12 available paint colors for the 2024 Ford Mustang in the list below.
Grabber Blue
Atlas Blue Metallic
Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat
Shadow Black Metallic
Dark Matter Gray Metallic
Iconic Silver Metallic
Carbonized Gray Metallic
Vapor Blue Metallic
Yellow Splash Metallic
Race Red
Oxford White
Blue Ember Metallic
Two of these colors are extra-cost options for the 2024 Ford Mustang. Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat costs an additional $495 to outfit on the EcoBoost and GT models, and is not offered on the Dark Horse or Dark Horse Premium. Meanwhile, Ember Blue Metallic, which is exclusive to the range-topping Dark Horse Premium, requires that the $1,250 Dark Horse Appearance Package be selected as well. Additionally, it’s important to note that Yellow Splash Metallic, a new color for the 2024 model year, is only offered on EcoBoost and GT trims, and is not offered on Dark Horse.
The forthcoming Mustang represents a complete generational shift, featuring a completely overhauled exterior and interior, along with a host of new tech and engine options. As far as powerplants go, the turbocharged Ford 2.3L EcoBoost I4 engine and the Ford 5.0L Coyote V8 engine are brand new for the 2024 model year. The former will be available in the base 2024 Mustang EcoBoost. The latter is harnessed by the high-performance 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, good for 500 horsepower and 418 pound-feet of torque.
Inside, the seventh-gen Mustang boasts the most technologically advanced driver-centric cockpit of any pony car in its class. Inspired by a fighter jet, the cockpit features two curved and customizable displays comprised of a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.2-inch center stack outfitted with Sync 4 infotainment. The animated designs and new drive-mode dependent visuals are based on the same Unreal Engine 3D creation tool that is used in modern video games.

Grabber Blue looks good, as always, but I’m digging the Vapor Blue on this car.
Carbonized grey be my choice .
I went to the build and price site to build a 24 Mustang and couldn’t find the option for a convertible. Can you help me.
Looking good! Though honestly my biggest take away from this article is that they are using Unreal for the display graphics, which means that it will definitely play Doom
I saw where someone made a mock up of a yellow Dark Horse… it looked so good. If I had the money to get ond I’de try to bribe Ford to make me one from factory. It also looks good in a green similar to the Mustang from Bullitt.
Do all dark horses come with badge on side or specific colors
