Those in the market for a unique Ford Mustang have certainly had their fair share to choose from in recent months, with a list of auction finds including a 2013 Roush Stage 3, a 2017 Roush Warrior coupe, a 2008 Roush Speedster, a 2010 Roush 427R with vertical doors, a one-off retractable hardtop convertible built by Galpin Auto Sports for SEMA, and a 2020 GT California Special coupe also modified for SEMA. Now that list continues to grow with the addition of this 2015 Ford Mustang Roush Stage 1 that’s currently up for grabs at Cars & Bids.
This 2015 Ford Mustang Roush Stage 1 looks a bit different than its regular pony car brethren on the outside thanks to a set of 20-inch Roush wheels, as well as the Roush Stage 1 Package, which adds a quad-tipped exhaust, high-flow upper and lower grilles, a hood scoop, fender badges, a windshield banner sticker, rear valance, and rear spoiler, along with a serialized engine bay plaque and embroidered floor mats.
Unlike those aforementioned V8-powered models, this 2015 Ford Mustang Roush 1 is actually equipped with the turbocharged Ford 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost powerplant, however, which has been enhanced with a Roush cold air intake, Mishimoto catted downpipe, Turbosmart Kompact dual port blow-off valve, and a COBB Tuning ACCESSPORT V3, though it’s unclear how much power those modifications have added to the mix. Regardless, its sends that power to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission and a 3.55-geared rear end.
Otherwise, this particular Mustang is well-equipped with the EcoBoost Performance Package, as well as leather upholstery, heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control. With just under 30k miles on the clock, it also has quite a bit of life left in it, providing someone with a fun, modified pony car for years to come.
