Some 2023 Lincoln Navigator Trims Can No Longer Be Ordered

Although expected to ease up later this year, the ongoing supply chain crisis – mainly exacerbated by a lack of microchips – is still severely curtailing automotive production. While Ford is planning to boost production of certain vehicles in the coming months, some vehicle nameplates were bound to still be impacted by lack of ample parts in circulation. According to sources familiar with the matter, the 2023 Lincoln Navigator is one such vehicle, as production of certain variants of the SUV have been spoken for, likely meaning that no orders can be placed for the rest of the current model year.

Going forward, 2023 Lincoln Navigator Standard (100A) production has been balanced out, meaning customers or dealers can no longer order the luxury SUV in its least expensive configuration. This applies to both standard wheelbase and extended wheelbase L variants. With Standard representing the least expensive trim in the lineup, Lincoln likely had reached the maximum amount of orders it could meet for the 2023 model year. This is possibly the result of a successful attempt to entice 2022 order holders into a 2023 Lincoln Navigator, as the division had previously introduced an incentive program for anyone with a 2022 order to switch over to 2023 production. In any event, 2023 Lincoln Navigator Reserve and Black Label models can still be ordered at this time. As Ford Authority reported last year, dealer stock orders for the 2022 model ended in April 2022, as production for the three-row has been constrained for some time.

Buyers interested in a 2023 Lincoln Navigator won’t be totally out of luck however, as dealers will likely get some of their own inventory throughout the year, and there are even some incentives on the vehicles for this month in the form of low interest financing. After the 2022 refresh, the current model soldiers on with light changes to its lineup.
