2021 Ford F-150 Shelby Super Snake Sport Up For Auction

While The Blue Oval may not make a street-focused performance pickup anymore, there are plenty of aftermarket companies that do – including Shelby Performance. The latest generation of these offerings – the Ford F-150 Shelby Super Snake – debuted alongside the pickup’s redesign for the 2021 model year, packing loads of appearance and performance upgrades that make this more of a pavement-pounding thrill ride than some utilitarian hauler. Now, those in the market for one of these cool trucks can nab this very nice 2021 Ford F-150 Shelby Super Snake Sport that’s up for auction at Bring a Trailer.

With just 800 miles on the clock, this 2021 Ford F-150 Shelby Super Snake is essentially brand new, and it certainly looks the part. Finished in Iconic Silver with black stripes, the modified hauler has been equipped with a dual-intake ram-air hood, a revised front bumper, a front splitter, a Shelby honeycomb grille insert, fender flares and vents, a hard tonneau cover, and forged 22-inch Shelby wheels, which are wrapped with 305/40 Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires.

Sitting low thanks to a Ridetech suspension, the F-150 Shelby Super Snake is also equipped with Fox adjustable coilovers up front and shocks in the rear, camber-adjusting upper control arms, performance rear traction bars, a revised rear sway bar, and four-wheel disc brakes with Baer six-piston calipers up front and slotted rotors all around. Inside the cabin, red stitching and carbon fiber accents help dress up the cabin.

As one might imagine, the real appeal of this 2021 Ford F-150 Shelby Super Snake lies under the hood, where the OEM Ford 5.0L V8 Coyote engine has been fortified with a Whipple supercharger, a billet throttle body, carbon-fiber air intake tube, high-flow fuel injectors, an aluminum heat exchanger, and a Borla exhaust. The result is a healthy 775 horsepower, which flows to the wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission and 3.73-geared rear end.

With an original MSRP of $98,690, this Shelby Super Snake looks likely to command a premium price at auction as well, though that isn’t really a surprise given its rarity, looks, performance, and prominence.
