Coupe Fans Should Bid On This Loaded 1995 Ford Thunderbird

Quite a few nice, low-mile, modern Ford Thunderbird examples have been surfacing for sale recently, ranging from a 16k-mile 1986 model to a stellar 3k-mile 1987 T-Bird to Jeff Gordon’s personal 1991 Super Coupe. Now, that trend continues with this rather stunning 1995 Ford Thunderbird LX up for grabs at Bring a Trailer, which has just 22k miles on the clock and is loaded with pretty much every option one could get back in that era – save for leather, anyway.

1995 Ford Thunderbird - Exterior 002 - Side

Amazingly, this particular 1995 Ford Thunderbird remained in the possession of its original owner until February 2023, at which point it was purchased by the selling dealer. It certainly looks like brand new, with shiny Deep Emerald Green paint with just a couple of blemishes on the hood and front bumper, though it’s worth noting that the coupe is equipped with an aftermarket body kit and rear spoiler, for what it’s worth.

1995 Ford Thunderbird - Interior 001

Peek inside the cabin, and one will find an equally sanitary cabin with beige cloth seats, a two-tone dash and door panels, and plenty of amenities including a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, an aftermarket Alpine CD stereo, and power windows and locks.

1995 Ford Thunderbird - Engine Bay 001

Power for this T-Bird comes from the naturally-aspirated Ford 4.6L V8, which was originally rated to produce 205 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque, which flows to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. Front disc brakes and rear drums handle braking duties, while the cool coupe rolls on its factory 15-inch silver wheels, which are wrapped with newer 215/70 Douglas All-Season M+S tires.

1995 Ford Thunderbird - Exterior 003 - Rear Three Quarters

A stellar example of a tenth-ten model, this 1995 Ford Thunderbird figures to be a popular attraction at auction, given its condition and low mileage – even if these later cars aren’t quite as coveted as earlier models.

Blah, great chassis wasted, mediocre power, cheap body kit and the nose of these T-Birds were terrible.

I bought one new and still have it, mine is in opalescent white with gray interior and all the same features as this one, except it has 88,000 miles.
LOVE it!! Never had any trouble with it except normal maintenance, replaced my ’88 Mustang GT and it is every bit the car that was except has more room (and it will bury that 120 speedo any time still today).

I had a 96 4.6 it was great. Then a bought a used 94 4.6 for my kids went to 300K miles until the salt got to the body. Also both of mine had rear disc brakes. Didn’t think they made any of these with rear drums

I had owned a 1998 Ford Thunderbird LX V8, white pearl/grey leather, when I lived in Mexico City Area
The vehicle was all metric, the same sent to the European markets.

That’s why I am here remembering but also, looking to possess once again.
