Ford Argentina sales increased 20 percent to 3,182 units in March 2023 compared to March 2022 results. The figures placed Ford as the sixth best-selling car brand in Argentina, behind Toyota, Fiat, Renault, Volkswagen and Peugeot.
Individual model sales performance was as follows:
- Ford Bronco Sport sales increased 232.61 percent to 153 units
- Ford EcoSport sales decreased 45.41 percent to 333 units
- Ford F-Series sales decreased 7.32 percent to 38 units
- Ford Ka sales decreased 100 percent to 0 units
- Ford Kuga sales decreased 66.67 percent to 2 units
- Ford Maverick sales increased 139.08 percent to 208 units
- Ford Mustang sales increased 266.67 percent to 11 units
- Ford Ranger sales increased 56.83 percent to 1,962 units
- Ford Territory sales decreased 43.72 percent to 269 units
- Ford Transit sales increased 47.24 percent to 187 units
During the first three months of the 2023 calendar year, Ford Argentina sales increased 43 percent to 10,390 units.

The Ford Authority Take
Ford Argentina sales ended the month of March with a notable double-digit increase, which expanded the overall segment share of the FoMoCo brand in the Argentine market. This is Ford’s fourth consecutive monthly increase in the South American country.
Several Ford models managed to substantially increase their sales in March, led by the best-selling Ford Ranger which had its second best year-to-date record with 1,962 deliveries. In fact, the midsize pickup rose to second place among the best sellers in its competitive segment – only behind the Toyota Hilux, the traditional leader in Argentina.
Also of note were triple-digit increases on three nameplates, including the Ford Maverick and Bronco Sport. In fact, the compact pickup experienced the highest growth rate and the was only Blue Oval model with a triple-digit growth rate during the first quarter of 2023.
