Yet again, there are not any Ford Bronco discount or incentives available during April 2023. That means that The Blue Oval has continued its trend of withholding any offers available toward the purchase or lease of its highly popular off-road SUV. Again, this is not entirely unexpected, considering that there is extremely high demand for Ford’s off-road SUV amid low supply, as has been observed since the vehicle launched in 2021 for the 2021 model year.
For the sake of context, we’ve provided a summary of Ford Bronco discount offers (or, perhaps more accurately, the lack thereof) throughout 2022, as well as thus far this year:
2022 Calendar Year
- March – no incentives
- April – no incentives
- May – no incentives
- June – no incentives
- July – no incentives
- August – no incentives
- September – no incentives
- October – no incentives
- November – no incentives
- December – no incentives
2023 Calendar Year
- January – no incentives
- February – no incentives
- March – no incentives
- April – no incentives
Unfortunately, ongoing supplier constraints have made it difficult for The Blue Oval to build enough units of the Bronco to pace demand for the rugged pony. In fact, many Ford Bronco reservation holders have been waiting months – and in some cases, as long as two years – to receive their Bronco.
In order to honor existing reservation holders, Ford has limited how many inventory units it is building, instead focusing the brunt of its efforts on building vehicles for existing customer orders. This means that supply of the Bronco on dealer lots remains low while FoMoCo works to deliver the off-road SUV to current reservation and order holders. Additionally, 2023 Bronco orders are restricted to existing reservation or order holders to ensure that they finally get their rugged ponies – although the order banks were briefly opened on March 27th, 2023.

Comment
I’m not big on conspiracy theories but it seems Ford is milking the supply chain situation for all it worth. While other manufacturers seem to be making progress, Ford seems to be using this situation to raise prices and continue to allow dealers to charge above MSRP while chastising them for doing so, but I see no change. Hope they are happy when their loyal customers give up on the Maverick and Bronco situation and move on.
