Ford Performance Winch Hook Kits Revealed

Ford Performance has vastly expanded its catalog of parts and accessories in recent months, with many of them falling in the off-road-focused category. Ford Bronco owners can now purchase things like the new Everglades wheel kit, a carbon fiber grab handle, Badlands 17-inch wheel kit, two-inch suspension lift kit, ARB jack mount kit, hood lift kit, and a matte black Method wheel kit, while owners of 2021-2023 Ford F-150 Raptor and 2022-2023 Ford Bronco Raptor models with factory equipped fog lights can also opt for the Off-Road Driving Light Upgrade Kit. Now, yet another new accessory has been added that will appeal to owners of certain Blue Oval models – a pair of new Ford Performance winch hook kits.

Ford Performance Tow Hook Kit Blue

The first of these two new Ford Performance winch hook kits is officially called the Factor 55 Red UltraHook and is sold under part number M-1821-UHR, while the second available offering is finished in blue with a title of Factor 55 Blue UltraHook, as one might imagine, and is available under part number M-1821-UHB.

These new winch hook kits consists of both the hooks themselves and a Ford Performance rope guard, with many features that help them stand out from standard winch hooks. That includes a closed system shackle mount hole that’s machined into the body of the hook, an intergrated secondary safety latch locking feature, a latch locking pin that’s stored in the body of the UltraHook, EPDM rubber pads for fairlead protection during storage, and a titanium double shear pin.

Both winch hook kits feature a maximum rated load of 16,000 pounds, and are compatible with both Ford Bronco and Ford Super Duty OEM winches. Each retails for $350, though it’s worth noting that these hooks are sold individually.
