Lincoln Nautilus Variant Wins 2023 Best Fleet Value Award

The Blue Oval has fared well in the 2023 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Awards thus far, as the Ford Maverick XL Hybrid took home top honors in the small pickup category, the Ford Transit Connect topped the small commercial passenger van and small commercial cargo van segments, the Ford Super Duty won the full-size 3/4 ton and one-ton segments, the Ford Transit was once again recognized by leading three different categories – the full-size one-ton van, full-size half-ton cargo van, and full-size 3/4 ton cargo van segments – and the E-Transit finished first in the full-size one-ton cargo van segment. Now, the Lincoln Nautilus has also been recognized for representing an excellent value for fleet owners, too.

The Lincoln Nautilus – or more specifically, the base front-wheel drive version of that model – topped the luxury mid-size SUV segment in the 2023 Best Fleet Value in America Awards by winning 22 of 28 measured lifecycle cost scenarios while also beating out 62 competitor trims in the process. It is worth noting, however, that the all-new 2024 Nautilus will no longer be available in front-wheel drive configuration, as it’s going all-wheel drive only across the lineup.

To determine the winners of the 2023 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Awards, the company performed a cost of ownership analysis measuring over 2,000 vehicle configurations based on typical fleet use. It accomplished this by using eight different cost factors – depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs, while each vehicle was evaluated in all 50 states plus Washington D.C. using 28 different lifecycle scenarios. Winners were then identified by determining which had the lowest fleet lifecycle cost in the most scenarios within its segment.

“The Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Awards provide guidance to fleet professionals by identifying vehicles that will bring proven value to their fleets,” said Vincentric President, David Wurster. “Managing costs is a critical part of fleet management, and our awards give valuable insight into which vehicles offer the lowest lifecycle costs in their segments.”

  1. There’s not one single business in the entire world using Lincoln nautilus’s as fleet vehicles. Bizarre award choice.
