Centurion is a company that has been associated with Ford Motor Company for some time now, having previously completed all sorts of unique and interesting conversions of Blue Oval models. Those include things like four-door Ford Bronco SUVs, elongated heavy-duty pickups, and even dually van/pickups based on the Ford E-Series, or Econoline as it was previously known. Now, another one of these somewhat strange models is up for grabs at Bring a Trailer – this very cool 1990 Ford Centurion C-150 Classic.
Based on the Ford Bronco of its era, this 1990 Ford Centurion C-150 Classic plugged a hole in The Blue Oval’s lineup by offering a four-door version of that SUV that was highly-capable off the pavement. This particular example is finished in white and looks to be in decent shape, but has also been fitted with a handful of modifications to boot. From the outside, one will certainly do a double-take when looking at it, because a four-door Bronco didn’t exist until the debut of the sixth-gen model in 2021.
To create this unique machine, Centurion used a combination of Bronco and F-150 parts to essentially stretch it and add two doors. This example has a misaligned door and a little bit of damage on the bumpers and tailgate, though also a set of 35-inch Cooper Evolution M/T tires wrapped around 15-inch alloy wheels, with a lift kit providing the clearance needed for those large rollers.
Inside the cabin, this Bronco conversion features a red interior, though there’s no carpet, along with plenty of wear and tear, a non-functional air conditioning system, no headliner or audio equipment, and the seller notes that some electrical work is needed. Power comes from Ford’s 5.8L V8, which is mated to a four-speed manual transmission.
Though it needs some work here and there, this Centurion C-150 Classic is undoubtedly a rare machine that would be a great project for anyone interested in owning something truly unique – the real question is, just how much will it sell for?
