2024 Ford Ranger Order Banks Open Later Today

The all-new North American 2024 Ford Ranger and Ranger Raptor debuted just a couple of weeks ago, and as Ford Authority reported shortly thereafter, order banks were scheduled to open up today, May 26th. Production will follow at the Michigan Assembly plant on August 7th, which is in line with FoMoCo’s estimate of late summer, though as always, those dates are subject to change. However, The Blue Oval has confirmed that 2024 Ford Ranger order banks are indeed set to open up later today, as originally planned.

Customers interested in placing an order for a 2024 Ford Ranger can do so at their preferred dealer, though it’s worth noting that at least one option – the twin-turbocharged Ford 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine – won’t be available until this fall. However, those wishing to stick with the tried-and-true turbocharged Ford 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost will be able to order a pickup with that powerplant right now.

The 2024 Ford Ranger build and price configurator just launched yesterday, giving customers the option to piece together their perfect pickup, and it also shed some light on pricing, which ranges from $32,565 to $55,365, sans destination and delivery. As Ford Authority

reported yesterday, that’s a substantial increase across the board, but the next-generation Ranger also offers up more content for the money than its predecessor, too.

For example, the 2024 Ford Ranger XL is $2,980 more expensive than the outgoing model, but as Ford Authority previously reported, the new pickup comes standard as a SuperCrew model with the STX Appearance Package, which adds a host of equipment including 17-inch silver-painted aluminum wheels, LED reflector headlamps, halogen fog lamps, a dampened tailgate, and premium cloth-covered bucket front seats. The same rings true for the XLT and Lariat , which now comes standard with the Sport Appearance Package, while all new Rangers get a bevy of additional tech features compared to the model’s predecessor.

We’ll have more on the 2024 Ford Ranger soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Ranger news and ongoing Ford news coverage.
