2024 Lincoln Nautilus Ditches Seven Exterior Colors

The advent of the all-new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus came as a bit of a surprise, finally solidifying the luxury crossover’s somewhat murky future and confirming that it will continue its lifecycle with a fresh face and revamped styling. Not only does the forthcoming Nautilus bring a new exterior to the table, but it also boasts a completely overhauled interior with a massive display screen, along with an all-new hybrid system that marries the 2.0L I4 EcoBoost engine to a 100 kW electric motor for a combined 310 horsepower output. Perusing the 2024 Nautilus online configurator, however, reveals that the forthcoming model will leave behind quite a few exterior colors that are currently available on the luxury crossover.

The following exterior colors will no longer be available on the Lincoln Nautilus once the 2023 model year is built out (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):

Meanwhile, the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus will retain the following exterior colors from the 2023 model year:

All aforementioned colors were offered on the 2023 Lincoln Nautilus Standard and Reserve trims, while Gilded Green and Jewel Sandstone Metallic were not offered on the range-topping Black Label trim. Additionally, Jewel Sandstone Metallic was exclusive to the 2023 model year and will not be offered moving forward.

The 2023 Lincoln Nautilus introduced minor changes to the exterior color lineup, dropping one color, a stark contrast to the overhauled color offerings available for the forthcoming 2024 Nautilus.

  2. So just 4 colors? Or 5 if Jon Cohen above is correct? That’s pathetic. Black, silver, gray, red and white. Bland boxes might as well settle for no real color choices.

    1. Seven per Lincoln’s own site.

  3. I think Ford should have kept some type of white or off white paint for the Nautilus. That vehicle looks very good in a White tone.

  4. It doesn’t matter. When they decided to move production from Canada to China, they told me they didn’t want my business. …and they won’t get it.

    1. Me too! And the Chinese Nautilus front end looks awful. Hugely disappointed in Ford, after 70 years of loyalty.

    2. I just ordered a 2023 model of the Nautilus, the last chance for a Canadian-built unit. I love the look of the 23, but I do not like the 24 models. And to be honest, I will never buy one from China. It really looks like Ford has become a Chinese company, they are even building an Explorer there, not to be imported to the US or Canada but for sale in China. What Is going to become of Ford when things turn to $hit between the US and China?

  5. I hope these Chinese vehicles will still have conservative AM talk radio.

  6. I am guessing the Chinese plant that is going to build the 2024 could not handle all those color choices , so some colors had to be eliminated. Maybe the Chinese did not like those colors they eliminated.

  7. Basically all non colors except red. Grey/silver/black/blah/blah/blah/blaaaaah.

Perfect for those customers who can’t make up their mind and end up making a non-choice.

  8. I Don’t care what the reason was or why there was a business decision to Build the vehicle in China , instead of Oakville , Ontario. It’s just wrong. These are the types of decisions ( hate to say it ) that governments should be involved in to ensure the we keep the people in both countries ( Canada and the US ) employed.

  10. My first Lincoln was a LEMON and they took it back! You can expect more of same from China ‼️ Lincoln closed local dealers so it is now time to seek a new model from Cadillac!
The Nautilus WAS the perfect vehicle for me.
