2024 RTR Mustang Spec Debuts As Beefed Up S650

Vaughn Gittin Jr. and his company – RTR Vehicles – played a bit of a notable role in developing the all-new, S650 generation 2024 Ford Mustang, helping to create its new electronic drift brake feature as the pro drifter and off-road racer spent quite a bit of time behind the wheel of the latest pony car prior to its debut. In the meantime, we’ve been waiting patiently to see RTR’s own take on the S650, which it teased just last week. Now, the 2024 RTR Mustang Spec 2 has debuted as a more stylish version of the new pony car with a load of enhancements.

That process began, as it usually does, with RTR’s unique front grille treatment, which features the company’s signature integrated accent lighting. However, the grille’s multi-dimensional illuminated intake scoops also help feed cool air to the engine, and the entire unit is designed to improve airflow in that regard.

From there, a stylized hood vent features a design that promotes out-washing, according to RTR, and it’s complemented by a lower grille, corner grilles, a chin splitter, under tray extension, and rocker splitters. Moving down the car, we can see even more upgrades in the form of rocker splitters, rear quarter splitters, a rear duckbill spoiler, RTR badges, special graphics, and a set of 20×9.5-inch RTR Aero 5 wheels wrapped with 275/35/20 Nitto NT555 G2 tires.

In terms of performance, the 2024 RTR Mustang Spec 2 features a rear shock mount kit, Tactical Performance lowering springs and adjustable sway bars at both ends, and adjustable shocks and struts. Inside the cabin, customers will notice an array of RTR-branded items including the shift knob, floor mats, and a serialized dash plaque.

  1. I’ll be glad when auto manufacturers get over these stupid neon looking headlight treatments!
