In Europe – where vans are the preferred commercial hauler of choice – Ford offers a full array of ICE and electrified options, including the best-selling Transit. Many European customers of both the commercial and retail sort seek out these offerings with various types of conversions in mind that better suit their needs, and now, customers looking for a suitable Blue Oval camper conversion will have even more to choose from, thanks to a new partnership between Ford Pro and Bailey of Bristol in the UK.
Bailey and FoMoCo previously teamed up to create the former’s Adamo coachbuilt motorhome back in 2020, a lineup that has since expanded to include five models as Ford has become Bailey’s top base vehicle provider. Thus, it makes sense to continue to expand this relationship, and that will soon happen with the addition of a new panel van range called Endeavour, which will make its public debut at the Motorhome and Caravan Show in October. The company hasn’t yet provided any details about this new offering, though more information should be available closer to that official reveal.
Already an official Ford Pro Convertor for coachbuilt motorhomes, Bailey of Bristol recently presented its first pre-production Endeavour model to the Ford Pro Special Vehicle Team for evaluation, and is also working on a concept that’s based on the all-electric E-Transit.
“The introduction of our first van conversion this Autumn is the next important step in the expansion of our existing motorhome portfolio,” said Bailey of Bristol Managing Director Nick Howard. “Working with our trusted partner Ford Pro on a totally new type of leisure vehicle has helped make the development process very straight forward and we’re extremely pleased with the end results.”
