Ford Mexico has earned its fair share of accolades recently, and we aren’t just talking about awards handed out for specific vehicles, dealerships, or other entities – but rather, the fact that it’s simply a good place to work. That list includes ranking seventh overall in the Best Technology Companies for Young Professionals in Mexico 2022 study, as well as coming in ninth place in Employers for Youth’s 2020 rankings. Now, the honors keep rolling in as Ford Mexico has landed on the 2023 Best LinkedIn Companies list for that particular country, too.
In this newly released report, Ford Mexico ranked as the top automaker in the North American country, and also secured the 10th overall sport among all industries. The Best LinkedIn Companies list evaluates organizations based on how well they foster professional growth, job stability, gender parity, diversity, and inclusion, among other factors, and is designed to help professionals identify the best companies in which they can develop and improve their skills within a supportive business culture.
In that regard, Ford Mexico stood out thanks to the fact that it has long been a champion of diversity, its policies, benefits, hybrid work model, and and its innovative and disruptive practices.
“At Ford, we listen to our collaborators and constantly seek to transform ourselves and adapt to the different needs of each one. We implement labor flexibility policies and new benefits, which generates a culture of empathy and support,” said Carlos Valdez, Director of Human Resources at Ford of Mexico. “At Ford, we are aware that diversity generates innovation and that only those companies that attract the best and most diverse talent will be the ones that can be really competitive,” added Luz Elena del Castillo, President and CEO of Ford of Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. “It is for this reason that, in order to attract the best talent, we have been innovative and disruptive so that, according to current needs, people identify with what we offer.”
