Ford Performance Racing School Advance Day Program Announced

Long a popular option for those wanting to hone their driving skills on the track, the Ford Performance Racing School continues to add dates for enthusiast to attend, with some spring classes added early this year and even more – stretching all the way through September – hitting the calendar in late March. Now, those that have taken one of these introductory two-day programs can advance their skills even further, thanks to the brand new Ford Performance Racing School Advance Driving Day School, which has just been announced.

Those that have already attended one of those aforementioned two-day classes – which include FPRS, GT350 Track Attack, GT500 Track Attack, or Mach 1 Track Attack – can now keep their education going by attending the new Advance Driving Day School, which is also held at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina. Those that participate will once again get to slip behind the wheel of a specially-prepped 2015 Ford Mustang GT wearing Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, too.

With a small, two-to-one instructor to student ratio, Ford Performance Racing School’s Advance Day class includes two classroom sessions and two hours of track time, the latter of which features a lead-follow session and five open lapping sessions. An instructor is on board to provide real-time feedback, and will also review both video analysis and data after the track outing to help participating study their performance and improve their skills.

The cost for all this goodness – including lunch – is $2,895, though just one date is open as of now – July 4th, 2023. As is the case with the rest of the Ford Performance Driving School classes, however, we imagine that this one will soon expand as well, giving those that have already attended one of these courses the chance to continue their on-track education.

We’ll have more on the Ford Performance Racing School soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for ongoing Ford news coverage.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
