Here’s How To Get A 2023 Ford Escape With Vapor Blue Paint

The 2023 Ford Escape gains two new colors to its lineup for the new model year: Cinnabar Red Metallic and Vapor Blue Metallic. Here’s a first look at the new Vapor Blue Metallic hue.

Vapor Blue Metallic is tagged with color code K1, and is one of nine colors offered on the 2023 Ford Escape. The nine available exterior colors are as follows:

  • Star White Metallic
  • Atlas Blue Metallic
  • Rapid Red Metallic
  • Iconic Silver Metallic
  • Carbonized Gray Metallic
  • Agate Black Metallic
  • Oxford White
  • Vapor Blue Metallic (new for 2023)
  • Cinnabar Red Metallic (new for 2023)

Vapor Blue Metallic does not add any additional cost to the 2023 Ford Escape, and can be outfitted in conjunction with any trim level and interior colorway. The available 2023 Escape trim levels are as follows:

  • Base
  • Active
  • PHEV
  • ST-Line
  • ST-Line Select
  • ST-Line Elite
  • Platinum

Interior color combinations available for the 2023 Escape are as follows:

  • Ebony
  • Ebony with Red stitching
  • Space Gray

The 2023 Ford Escape brings quite a few changes to the lineup over its 2022 model year counterpart. The crossover’s trim lineup for the 2023 Ford Escape was totally revamped, and now includes Base, followed by Active, PHEV, ST-Line and Platinum, respectively. The crossover also received a new front and rear fascia treatment, highlighted by a black mesh grille and a unique coast-to-coast lighting strip between the headlights. The 2023 Escape features LED projector headlamps as standard, replacing the halogen lamps that were previously standard.

Inside, the 2023 Ford Escape offers a standard 8-inch infotainment screen or a larger 13.2-inch unit that’s optional on Active, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, and PHEV trims, while it is standard on the ST-Line Elite and Platinum.

Available powertrains include the Ford 1.5L I3 EcoBoost engine, which provides 180 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque for the Escape Base, Active and ST-Line trims. Customers can also opt for the turbocharged Ford 2.0L I4 EcoBoost, capable of 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, or one of two hybridized powertrains that marry the 2.5L Atkinson cycle engine with a hybrid propulsion system.

  1. Loving my ’23 Escape in Rapid Red! It was a wait but worth it. And can’t beat the 0% financing.

  3. I have one, don’t judge the color from the photos online, try to see one in person. It’s no where near as dark of a color as all these online photos seem to be. It’s a very light blue in direct sunlight with multicolor metallic flakes/sparkles in it. I was slightly disappointed when I got mine because I was hoping it was a darker color, but it is growing on me and all my friends and family love it.
