The 2023 Ford F-150 gains a handful of new exterior colors, including Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat, Hot Pepper Red Metallic Clearcoat, Area 51, and Avalanche. Here’s a first look at the new Avalanche hue.
Avalanche is tagged with paint code DR, and is available at no extra cost for the 2023 Ford F-150. It is offered on XLT, Lariat, Platinum and Tremor trims in conjunction with select interior colorways, including Black/Slate Gray, Black, and Black/Bronze. As a reminder, the following list comprises the full color lineup for the 2023 Ford F-150:

The 2023 Ford F-150 lineup saw some changes over its prior model year, seeing changes such as the deletion of two-wheel-drive from the Limited trim level, along with the Ford 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, both of which were previously standard. This model now receives standard four-wheel-drive and the Ford 3.5L V6 PowerBoost hybrid.
Three new variants joined the pickup’s model line for the 2023 model year as well, including the retro-inspired Heritage Edition, the entry level off-road-focused Rattler and the supercharged V8-powered 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R. Additionally, the F-150 Tremor now features the naturally aspirated Ford 5.0L V8 Coyote engine as standard, as opposed to the Ford 3.5L V6 EcoBoost powerplant.
