We’re getting closer to the official reveal of the 2024 Ford F-150 lineup, based on what our photographers and other outlets have spotted. As Ford Authority has extensively detailed, the prototypes of the upcoming pickup have been steadily shedding camo and showing off the broad changes that will be incorporated throughout the pickup’s model range when it goes on sale. That includes a revised front and new taillamp assemblies, among other things. When it comes to the Raptor, it seems a redesigned grille is in the cards, although further alterations apparently are also on the way as well. Now, based on shots of a 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R without any camo or coverings, we can clearly see that the high-performance pickup will also receive new graphics and at least one new paint option as part of the refresh.
Up front, this particular 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R looks almost exactly the same as the example from last week, with several notable differences. For starters, this truck has a full set of graphics, not limited to two new strips that flank the hood scoop and follow the bulges down the hood. On the current model, there is one Code Orange strip that surrounds the power dome, with a black painted section in front of it. It appears the scoop itself and its Raptor R badges have been unaltered though. As previously detailed, these changes arrive with a revised grille with a subtle update to the “FORD” script, along with new headlights flanked by new signature lighting.
The lower bumper has also clearly been revised, and it looks like the outer sections are thinner. Towards the center, there is a new design, which doesn’t feature a lower grille that mimics the main grille, like the current model. There are also new front tow hooks on this truck that look substantially thicker than the ones on the 2023 Raptor, although the skid plate appears to be the same.
Moving to the side, it appears the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R will get a new set of 17-inch bead-lock capable wheels, along with a new graphic. The 2023 Raptor R does not currently feature a graphic of any sort above the wheel well, so this is an entirely new addition, although at this point it is unclear if this is a standard or optional graphic.
This angle very succinctly shows off previously unseen graphics along the bed, featuring a black Raptor lettering and an extremely large R that is situated inside what are actually a bunch of horizonal stripes. This is arguably the biggest change that the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R brings to the table, as the current graphic simply spells out Raptor, with the first letter painted orange, while the rest of the letters are white. Additionally, the current model’s stripes form a pattern meant to look like a Raptor’s scales, a look that has been ditched entirely for the refresh. We can also see the rear taillamp lighting alterations that will likely make its way to the entire F-150 lineup. Aside from the slight revision to the Ford script on the tailgate, everything else out back appears unchanged from the 2023, including the rear bumper.
Finally, this 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R is almost certainly wearing Shelter Green Metallic paint, a color that is also available on the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor. It appears that color may be exclusive to Raptor vehicles, as non-Raptor Ranger pickups can not be ordered with the paint. In any event, we expect the Raptor R to continue utilizing the supercharged Ford 5.2L V8, possibly with a slight boost to its horsepower rating. It also may receive new or revised center touchscreen infotainment.

Sign me up!! Looks nice in this new color!!
So amazing and interesting
How much for ford F150 2021
The Raptor R has a power dome, not a hood scoop. There is a very big difference between a dome, and a scoop, because, when you look at the side photo, there is no opening on the hood, which is where the hood scoop would be, but, there’s no opening on the hood for a scoop, so this is a power dome.
Good point! Fixed.
Good. Hope it comes with Live Valve X2 shocks, or at least the option for it. Maybe go all the way to King Shocks or Multimatic ASV.
what i like the most is the dealer $60000. price gouge! on the raptor R, that should really help sales. i was thinking about a new RAPTOR R, but its going to be MOPAR BOYCOTT FORD!!!!!!!
