For the 2023 model year, the Lincoln Navigator received only minor changes, which involved the loss of one exterior color option, known as Flight Blue, which was subsequently replaced by Diamond Red Metallic Tri-Coat. The 2024 Lincoln Navigator will follow in a similar vein, as Ford Authority learned that the only changes to the forthcoming luxury SUV will once again deal with its exterior color options, seeing the return of Flight Blue.
Flight Blue (paint code C8) was initially introduced for the Navigator’s 2021 model year. For the 2024 Lincoln Navigator, it will be available as an option for the base Premiere and midrange Reserve trim, while it will not be available for the Black Label trim. Flight Blue will replace Ocean Drive Blue (paint code AB), which will no longer be offered for the Navigator’s 2024 model year.
Aside from the paint color shakeup, the 2024 Lincoln Navigator will not receive any major changes. In fact, the last time the Navigator received major revisions was for the 2022 model year. However, that won’t be the case for much longer, as looking ahead, the 2025 Lincoln Navigator will gain a substantial refresh to make it a more formidable opponent in the full-size luxury SUV bracket.
The forthcoming Navigator will borrow styling cues from the refreshed 2024 Lincoln Nautilus, such as a coast-to-coast lightbar, as evidenced by a prototype Ford Authority spied undergoing testing. Additionally, its rear end will closely resemble that of the Nautilus, gaining elements similar to what’s seen on the refreshed luxury crossover.
Major changes are on the way for the Navigator’s interior, too – another prototype allowed us a glimpse of its coast-to-coast interior display, a major deviation from the current model’s infotainment setup.

Who cares about Flight Blue coming back. We want a proper Lincoln LS V8, Mark9 V8 and Continental V8 coming back instead.
