The Blue Oval recently announced that it was discontinuing the Ford Fiesta, though in the U.S., the small, economical, and efficient model has been gone for years now. These days, those in America interesting in purchasing something like the Fiesta – or its high-performance ST variant – must instead turn to the used vehicle market, where we’ve seen more than a few nice, well-kept examples hit the auction block in recent months. Now, enthusiasts have another fine option in that regard – this extensively modified 2016 Ford Fiesta ST, which is currently up for grabs at Cars & Bids.
As it sits, this 2016 Ford Fiesta ST is in excellent shape with just one owner to its name and a little over 44k original miles on the clock, as well as nearly flawless Molten Orange Metallic Tricoat paint. It is worth noting that the car was rear-ended some time ago and has received a new bumper cover and beam, though the airbags didn’t deploy, at least.
Other than that, the list of modifications here is long and comprehensive, starting with goodies such as a set of matte bronze 16-inch Enkei RPF1 wheels wrapped with Falken AZENIS RT660 tires, a Fortune Auto 510 coilover kit with Swift springs, Whoosh Motorsports shifter base and cable bracket bushings, a Mountune custom tune and radiator, a Cobb Tuning cat-back exhaust system, a beefier intercooler, and much more.
These performance upgrades give the car’s turbocharged Ford 1.6L I-4 EcoBoost engine a bit of a boost, as it now is said to produce 217 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque, compared to its stock ratings of 197 horsepower and 202 pound-feet. Perhaps more importantly, that power flows to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and Wavetrac limited-slip differential, making it quite a bit of fun to tool around town in.
