The Ford Authority Take

Ford Argentina sales in May marks the sixth month of consecutive increases for the brand in the Argentine market. That said, despite the increase, Ford fell from sixth place in April to seventh place in May.

As usual, Ford Argentina’s solid results in May was led by the locally manufactured Ford Ranger. The midsize pickup practically doubled its sales compared to May 2022 and continued to consolidate its position as the brand’s best-selling model, both in Argentina and in South America.

The Ford F-150 and the Transit also increased their market share last month in Argentina, with the full-size pickup having the highest growth rate. In contrast, the entire lineup of crossovers and the Ford Maverick suffered notable double-digit drops for the month.
