Individual model sales performance was as follows:
- Ford F-Series sales totaled 193 units
- Ford Fiesta sales totaled 0 units
- Ford Ka sales were flat at 0 units
- Ford Maverick sales decreased 39.2 percent to 107 units
- Ford Mustang sales increased 680 percent to 39 units
- Ford Ranger sales increased 28.48 percent to 1,561 units
- Ford Territory sales decreased 6.14 percent to 107 units
- Ford Transit sales increased 2460 percent to 256 units
During the first five months of the 2023 calendar year, Ford Brazil sales increased 43 percent to 10,065 units.

The Ford Authority Take
Ford Brazil sales continued to expand through in May, when it marked an outstanding growth rate that exceeds that of several other brands in the South American country. As such, the new record represents Ford’s fourth consecutive monthly increase in the Brazilian market.
In May, the growth of Ford Brazil was once again led by a good sales result of the best-selling Ford Ranger. The midsize pickup had a healthy double-digit increase that allowed it to continue consolidating its position as the brand’s best-selling model in the Brazilian market.
Also noteworthy is Ford Transit’s four-digit increase both in the month and year-to-date, as well as Mustang’s solid performance. However, the highlight was the Ford F-150, which found 193 buyers in its first official month as a Brazilian market offering. As such, the full-size truck is off to a good start in the largest market in South America.

Before you sell cars to all these foreign countries, you should focus on filling ALL your US orders and getting some Mavericks on dealer lots so people don’t have to wait a year or more to get one here! All other countries should come after that.
