Ford F-150 owners have long had a plethora of performance upgrades to choose from, enabling them to essentially build a modern version of the old SVT Lightning – something The Blue Oval no longer does, as least in turnkey form. Regardless, open up the Ford Performance catalog, and one can buy things like a Whipple supercharger kit or 22-inch wheels, and pretty much everything in between. Now, after showing off just what’s possible its “Street Performance” SEMA build some time ago, The Blue Oval is launching two distinct Ford F-150 FP700 packages that are a bit more comprehensive in scope, yet seem to be inspired by that one-off creation.
Revealed today at the Ford Carlisle Nationals, the Ford F-150 FP700 packages consist of two different offerings – the Bronze Edition and Black Edition. Both of these models are based on pickups powered by the Ford 5.0L V8 Coyote engine, but it certainly isn’t stock. Rather, both trucks have been treated to a 3.0L Whipple supercharger that lifts output to a healthy 700 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, which is mated to the standard 10-speed automatic transmission.
From there, the Bronze Edition also includes a gloss black grille, Ford Performance fender vents, a set of 22×9.5-inch Sinister Bronze machined wheels with black lug nuts, unique beside graphics, bronze tailgate lettering, a rear lowering kit, and Ford Performance floor mats. The Black Edition is mostly identical, save for the fact that the wheels and tailgate lettering are finished in black, while this package also includes a rocker panel aero delete kit. In both cases, tires are sold separately, however, though that enables. customers to choose their preferred set of rubber.
No matter which Ford F-150 FP700 package one chooses, the cost is the same – $12,350. Both kits are 50-state street-legal, and both are available to purchase via the Ford Performance catalog right now.

Love it. A bit less power than Whipple’s own tunes claim, makes you wonder if Ford went a little more conservative.
Price is pretty reasonable to be honest.
