Ford Maverick Chase Rack Details And Pricing Revealed

Just over one year ago, a number of new accessories for the Ford Maverick debuted in Brazil, including a bed extender, a locking tonneau cover with either power or manual operation, a Nomad Trucks Sportspad, cargo containers, fender flares, a satin black hood scoop, side steps, a sports bar, a chase rack, a trailer hitch, and running boards. One of these new accessories was of particular interest – the chase rack, which mounts along the outside of the pickup’s bed and enables owners to attach various accessories or cargo to it. Then, last August, Ford Authority exclusively reported that this Ford Maverick chase rack was also coming to North America, and now, that part has finally shown up in the Ford Performance catalog.

2022-2023 Ford Maverick Chase Rack - Exterior 001 - Rear Three Quarters

The North American Ford Maverick chase rack is quite similar to the one already on sale in Brazil, is finished in satin black with “Maverick” script on the side panels, and can be used to transport all sorts of items, including kayaks, canoes, boards, and much more, adding quite a bit of extra utility and cargo capacity to the compact pickup’s bed area.

Designed to fit all 2022 and up Maverick pickups, the new chase rack is made from two-inch tubular steel and is a true bolt-on installation with no drilling required. This particular item also installs without covering up the factory high-mount stop light on the back of the cab, but it is worth noting that the chase rack will require modifications if owners install it on pickups equipped with the factory drop-in bedliner.
