Ford NASCAR V8 Coffee Table Is One Cool Conversation Piece

The Blue Oval has been competing in NASCAR racing for decades to this point, remaining a stalwart in the stock car ranks with a bevy of ever-changing models that currently consists of the next-generation Ford Mustang racer. Much of FoMoCo’s success over the years can be attributed to its racing engines, of course, which are every bit as nice to look at as they are to listen to while they’re roaring around the track. Now, one lucky fan will get the chance to show off precisely that courtesy of this very cool Ford NASCAR V8 coffee table up for grabs at Bring a Trailer.

This Ford NASCAR V8 coffee table was put together by the seller themself, who created it using a Roush-Yates Ford FR9 mockup powerplant previously used by actual racing teams. It certainly looks like the real deal, sporting Roush Yates Engines and Ford Racing logos on the valve covers, a silver and black color combo, and an intake manifold that extends up past the glass tabletop via a cutout section, too.

While the engine lacks any sort of internal components like pistons, rods, or a camshaft, it does sport most everything one would expect to see on the outside, such as pulleys and even belts, along with all of the markings and stampings present on the real thing. From there, the seller added a set of feet and a bell housing to support the piece of coffee table art, along with the aforementioned tempered glass tabletop, which measures roughly 42 inches long by 32 inches wide.

As one might imagine, this Ford NASCAR V8 coffee table isn’t exactly light, as it tips the scales at around 425 pounds. However, we can’t think of a more appropriate piece of furniture for a Blue Oval fan to have in their own living room, garage, or Ford-focused den, particularly since it also features remote-controlled LED lighting built in for a bit of extra razzle dazzle.
