Heavily Modified 2016 Ford Focus ST Is Up For Grabs

It wasn’t terribly long ago when hot hatch fans could mosey on down to their local Blue Oval dealer and buy one, but following the discontinuation of the Focus and Fiesta, those days are long gone. Now, those seeking out such a machine are forced to turn to the used vehicle market, but luckily, there are plenty of nice FoMoCo-branded hot hatches up for the taking. Most recently, that list has included a modded 2016 Fiesta ST, a 2014 Octane Academy Focus ST, and a low-mile 2016 Focus ST. Now, fans in the market for such a ride can also bid on this heavily-modified 2016 Ford Focus ST, which is currently up for grabs at Cars & Bids.

Heavily Modified 2016 Ford Focus ST - Interior 001

As is evident from the photos of this 2016 Ford Focus ST, there isn’t much here that hasn’t been modified in some sort of way, including the exterior. There, the performance-focused ride has been treated to a set of Battle Aero three-inch fender flares, an ABS wheel well shield, a Maxton Design front lip and rear splitter, aftermarket taillights, a Seibon carbon fiber hood, carbon mirror covers, a Vega Motorworks rear diffuser and side skirt extensions, a Rally Innovations carbon fiber rear wing, and 18-inch Motegi Racing wheels wrapped with Nitto NT05 tires.

Under the hood, the Focus ST’s stock turbocharged Ford 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost engine has also received a bit of a “boost” thanks to a Cobb Stage 3 tune, an MBRP three-inch exhaust, a Depo Racing three-inch catted downpipe, a front mount intercooler, a cold air intake, and a Boomba Racing blow-off valve, giving it a bit more power than its original ratings of 252 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, which flows to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Underneath, MeisterR adjustable coilovers help get that power to the ground, while R1 Concepts brakes slow it down in a hurry.

Throw in a slew of interior upgrades that include a DND Performance steering wheel mounted on am NRG Innovations quick-release steering wheel hub, a carbon fiber dash bezel, and a carbon fiber shift knob, and it’s pretty clear that the previous owner of this Focus ST spent a lot of time and money making it truly unique. Now, it’s up for grabs, giving someone else the chance to score a heavily-modified hot hatch of their own – potentially at a discount.
