The all-new 2023 Ford Super Duty line – including the Ford F-250 – made its debut last September, bringing about an overhaul to the iconic F-Series heavy duty pickups alongside a new cab design, a brand new 6.8L V8 engine, heaps of the latest tech, and the more mundane (but equally useful) integrated tailgate step and side bed step. With more than enough power packed into each available engine, the Ford Super Duty deserves a proper grille to let its powerhouse breathe. The good news is that there are plenty of available grille options, and below, Ford Authority walks you through every grille offered on the 2023 Ford F-250.
Ford F-250 XL
Let’s start off with the base 2023 Ford F-250 XL. This trim is outfitted with the Black-painted grille as standard, lending a simple yet bold face to the pickup. Meanwhile, a different painted grille is included in the STX Appearance Package, which is exclusively available on the F-250 XL, granting the pickup a different mesh cover and surrounds that aren’t as geometric as the base Black-painted grille. Finally, for owners who really want their 2023 F-250 XL to stand out, the Chrome Package is available, which includes a grille that has the same shape and pattern as the base Black-painted grille, but finished in bright chrome.
Ford F-250 XLT
Speaking of the bright chrome grille, this can also be found on the 2023 Ford F-250 XLT as standard. Those in search of something a little more subtle, though, can opt for the Black Appearance Package on their F-250 XLT, which grants the Black-painted grille for a more sinister look. Finally, those in search of a brighter, yet subtle grille can opt for the Sport Appearance Package, which also bundles a bright chrome grille for the Ford F-250 XLT, along with other sporty exterior elements.
Ford F-250 Lariat
The 2023 Ford F-250 Lariat is outfitted with a bright chrome grille as standard. However, this trim level doesn’t have the grid-like pattern found on the XLT, featuring bold chrome inserts instead.
The Lariat trim has two available appearance packages, including the Black Appearance Package and the Sport Appearance Package. As with the other trims, the Black Appearance Package includes a host of black accents, including the blacked-out grille. Meanwhile, the Sport Appearance Package features a Dark-painted grille that’s slightly lighter than the aforementioned Black-painted grille.
Ford F-250 King Ranch
The bright chrome grille with Caribou inserts is standard on the 2023 Ford F-250 King Ranch, which is the sole grille option for this trim level.
Ford F-250 Platinum
The 2023 Ford F-250 Platinum features a Unique Satin Aluminum grille as standard, which is, as it sounds, a grille with a satin finish instead of polished. This is the only grille offered on this trim.
Ford F-250 Limited
Much like the F-250 Platinum, the F-250 Limited also exclusively features the Unique Satin Aluminum grille as standard. There are no other grille options offered on this trim.
The Ford Super Duty line, including the 2023 Ford F-250, has thus far proved to be highly desirable, and was one of the most considered vehicles during Q1 2023. Production of the Ford F-250 occurs at the Kentucky Truck plant in Louisville, Kentucky, as well as at the Ohio Assembly plant in Avon Lake, Ohio. Pricing starts at $45,865 for the XL, while on the opposite end of the spectrum, the Limited starts at a cool $97,990, including destination and freight charges.

Xlt sport is the same as lariat sport. No chrome grille or chrome bumpers…
Yeah that’s what the sport package is. Why would the package that blacks out out the grille and color matches everything have Chrome?
I was correcting the article which states the xlt sport has chrome grille and bumpers if you were to read the article you’d see that.
We need this for the wheel options.
