Here Is A Guide To Every 2023 Ford F-450 Super Duty Grille

The all-new 2023 Ford Super Duty, including the 2023 Ford F-450, made its debut last fall, spicing up the F-Series line with a completely new cab and even a brand-new V8 engine, all so it can maintain its position as the best-selling pickup in its competitive segment. The heavy duty pickup also now features an integrated tailgate step and side bed step too. Now that all trim levels of the Super Duty are shipping out to customers, owners are finally getting their hands on their pickups. Of course, one of the first things they’re likely to notice on their new pickups is the grille – and below, Ford Authority takes a closer look at all the grilles available on the 2023 F-450, right down to which trim level is outfitted with which style, just like we did with for the F-250 lineup.

Ford F-450 XL

The base 2023 Ford F-450 XL trim features a bold Black-painted grille as standard, a bold look right from the factory. The F-450 XL also offers an optional Chrome Package, which adds a bright chrome grille among other chrome exterior accents.

Ford F-450 XLT

Meanwhile, the 2023 Ford F-450 XLT sports the bright chrome grille as standard, lending a bright face to the heavy duty pickup. This is the sole grille option offered on the XLT trim.

 Ford F-450 Lariat

The bright chrome grille is also outfitted on the 2023 Ford F-450 Lariat, but on this trim level, it includes unique chrome inserts to set it apart from other trims. If that’s not flashy enough, customers can opt for the Chrome Package, which adds the same grille, but compliments it with a set of chrome-plated tow hooks.

Ford F-450 King Ranch

The 2023 Ford F-450 King Ranch features a bright chrome grille with Caribou inserts as standard, but as with the Lariat, customers can also choose the Chrome Package. This pairs the bright chrome grille with Caribou inserts and a set of chrome-plated tow hooks as well.

Ford F-450 Platinum

A unique Satin aluminum grille is standard on the 2023 Ford F-450 Platinum, featuring a muted finish instead of polished for a more subtle appearance. This is also the only grille offered on this trim level.

Ford F-450 Limited

Finally, the 2023 Ford F-450 Limited trim is offered exclusively with a grille finished in Satin, as there are no optional exterior packages available for this trim level.

The new 2023 Ford Super Duty boasts a frame that was strengthened in several key areas in order to offer “the most towing, payload, torque, and horsepower of any heavy-duty full-size truck,” as touted by FoMoCo.

Additionally, the heavy duty pickup line gains a standard 6.8L V8, an all new gasoline engine that Ford Authority was the first to report on. This engine is offered alongside the Ford 7.3L V8 Godzilla, the Ford 6.7L V8 Power Stroke diesel, and a new high-output version of the Power Stroke that features a unique turbo, tune, and upgraded exhaust manifolds.
