Maxlider Brothers Customs has long been known as a customizer of both vintage and modern Broncos, and has most recently turned its attention to the sixth-generation Ford Bronco and Ford Bronco Raptor. It last auctioned off a custom Bronco Raptor at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale sale back in January, and now, the company has added this equally wild 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor to a docket that already includes interesting Blue Oval rides like a reproduction 1968 Ford Mustang Bullitt, a 2019 Ford GT Carbon Series, and a 1971 Ford Bronco “Big Oly” tribute.
Officially known as the Maxlider Edition 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor, this build is serial number six from that particular company, which plans to create a grand total of 150 units for the 2022 and 2023 model years, combined. As one has probably already noticed, it’s a far cry from the stock Bronco Raptor in a number of ways, starting with that heavily-modified exterior.
There, Maxlider treated the Bronco Raptor to its own modular front bumper with a brush guard, an 8,000-pound Warn winch, and integrated LED lights, along with a matching heavy-duty rear bumper, a spare tire reinforcement system, beefier front skid plates, power running boards, 21 VisionX LED light cannons/cubes, LED cowl lights, a windshield-mounted LED light bar, a two-inch lift, and 18-inch Maxlider Gunshot wheels wrapped with 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires.
Inside the cabin, the Maxlider Bronco Raptor has been treated to a full-blown upgraded leather interior with embroidered headrests and a special graphics package to give it a look as unique as the outside. However, in terms of power, the rugged SUV is still sporting its stock twin-turbocharged Ford 3.0L V6 EcoBoost engine, which generates 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. Given its rather unique styling, it’ll certainly be interested to see what this custom rig sells for, but we imagine that at least a few people will find it to be quite the head-turner.
