Those seeking out different wheel options for their sixth-generation Ford Bronco have plenty to choose from, whether that be via the aftermarket or in the official Blue Oval catalog. That latter selection already includes a Dyno Gray 17-inch wheel kit, OEM Badlands 17-inch wheels, the Everglades wheel kit, a set of matte black Method wheels, and two different wheel designs finished in Sinister Bronze. Now, the Ford Performance catalog has expanded yet again, this time with the addition of two new matte black 2021-2023 Ford Bronco wheel kits.
Interestingly, these new matte black wheel kits are identical in terms of design when compared to the Sinister Bronze options, with one notable difference – they’re finished in matte black rather than bronze. The first – sold in the Ford catalog under part number M-1007K-P1780MBM – are 17×8 inches in size with a 55mm offset and retail for $1,585. Featuring a 12-hole design, these wheels were developed to OEM standards, but are not currently available on any Bronco model from the factory, meaning that they provide a unique look for those seeking such a thing.
The same goes for the second matte black Bronco wheel kit, which is listed under part number M-1007K-P1785MBM with a retail price of $1,655. This wheel design – which measures 17×8.5 inches with a 30mm offset – is also unique and not available on any current production model, and were designed as an exclusive offering for Ford Performance’s catalog.
Both of these wheel kits fit all 2021-2023 Bronco models except for the Bronco Raptor and come with five center caps and five tire pressure monitoring sensors, as well as a TPMS activation tool, so they won’t trigger a warning light. Ford notes that both wheels are suitable for overlanding purposes, meaning that they’re quite durable, too.
