There are no Ford Transit Connect discount offers available in June 2023. That means that The Blue Oval has once again elected to withhold any sort of incentive or deals toward its compact van.
Considering that order banks for the Transit Connect van closed back in February, and order banks for the wagon variant closed in April, it’s not a surprise that FoMoCo doesn’t see a need to incentivize its purchase.
However, dealers will continue to be able to place stock orders for these models through the duration of the 2023 model year, though those orders could be impacted by ongoing supply chain issues.
Beyond that, the Transit Connect will be fully discontinued after the 2023 model year is built out. Ford cites its reasoning for this decision as part of ongoing “efforts to reduce global manufacturing cost and complexity, alongside decreased demand for the compact van segment.” The sharp decline in Ford Transit Connect sales is evident in its first quarter results, during which the van sold just under 4,000 units – nearly half the number of units moved during Q1 2022. With that in mind, it won’t be surprising if the automaker does not put forth a Ford Transit Connect discount offer for the remainder of the calendar year.
