2016 Ford Mustang Saleen 302 White Label Up For Auction

In the very recent past, several special Saleen Ford vehicles have surfaced and been put up for auction, such as this 2004 Ford Focus Saleen N20, and another example of the same, rare model a short while later. Those interested in securing a 2016 Ford Mustang Saleen 302 White Label now have the opportunity to do so for themselves, as one is now up for grabs on Cars & Bids.

The “White Label” moniker certainly doesn’t refer to the exterior color of this 2016 Ford Mustang, as it’s finished in Magnetic Metallic, a graphite-like color, with an equally dark Ebony interior. Stock equipment includes the Premium Package, selectable drive modes, leather upholstery, heated and cooled front seats, and a 12-speaker audio system. However, it does also boast quite a few high-performance Saleen upgrades that really set this Mustang apart from its peers.

This 2016 Ford Mustang Saleen 302 White Label offers a power increase over the stock Mustang GT, thanks to performance upgrades, along with suspension and brake system improvements. Power is sourced from the 5.0L Coyote engine, which is rated at 450 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque in this guise, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that throws power through the rear wheels.

Other upgrades include a high-downforce rear wing, a PowerFlash high-performance engine tune, S4 specific rate front and rear springs, a strut tower brace and Saleen embroidered headrests. It rolls on a set of 20-inch Project 6GR Seven wheels, an Injen Evolution air intake system, a UPR oil separator, LED interior and exterior lights, a Ford Mustang GT350 steering wheel, and a starter button. It’s identifiable by its unique Saleen grille, badging and quarter window trim.

This 2016 Ford Mustang Saleen 302 White Label has had just one owner in its life, and its odometer shows less than 10,000 miles racked up. At the time of this writing, the high bid is $18,750. Bidding on this Mustang ends on July 10th, 2023.

I don’t think the Coyote 5.0 GT had 450HP in 2016. In the USA it reportedly had 435HP, in Australia it had 410HP. The FN GT in Australia has 454HP.
