2024 Ford F-150 Lineup To Get Modular Front Bumper

To date, Ford Authority has spotted a host of 2024 Ford F-150 prototypes out and about wearing various levels of camouflage, giving us a good look at the handful of changes in store for the forthcoming refreshed pickup. Thus far, that list includes the XL, Rattler, Tremor, Platinum, Raptor, and Raptor R, as well as multiple sightings of the 2024 F-150’s interior, to boot. Now, sources familiar the matter have told Ford Authority that the 2024 Ford F-150 lineup will get a new modular front bumper, too.

The 2024 Ford F-150 lineup will get some type of modular front bumper, which is similar to the one already offered on the sixth-generation Ford Bronco. It’s currently unclear what models or trims might offer this new modular front bumper, though in some recent prototype sightings, the refreshed F-150 Raptor and Raptor R are equipped with a front bumper that’s somewhat similar to the one present on the Bronco.

One of the main benefits of the modular front bumper available on the Bronco is the fact that it features removable end caps that improve clearance for off-roading, and that piece also makes it easy to install all sorts of accessories and other types of attachments, such as off-road lighting, winches, and brush guards, to name just a couple.

Otherwise, the 2024 Ford F-150 lineup gets new headlights and taillights, along with slight revisions to the grille – which vary by trim level – newly available 22-inch wheels, a possible multi-function tailgate, and third-party off-road-focused parts. In addition to these changes, the 2024 F-150 is expected to be simpler than the current model, which is all part of Ford’s greater strategy to reduce complexity and boost profitability within its lineup. Inside the cabin, we’ve come across both horizontal and vertical infotainment screens, which could be running the typical Sync software of the long-awaited Google infotainment system that’s been in the works for some time now.

  1. Ugly looking modular front bumper, must be more cost cutting for our 65,000 pick up truck. That I would never buy again, need to redesign the slab side that has on going now for 15 years or more I had an 04 looked just like the 23 from the side. Slab sided look.

    1. God I wish it was a $65000 truck. Even the used Gen3s are going for over $80K.

  2. “Simplicity”….
That means less options, same price.
The average worker can’t afford a new vehicle. If it weren’t for the 7 year payment plans, all of this junk would be sitting on the lots. Unreal.

  3. What has happened with the 2017 Escape recalls/lawsuit? Mine has a cracked block…do I have to pay to have it fixed? Is it worth it to keep it.?

  4. This truck is so freakin dated. It need a whole new design, loose the perfectly round wheel openings for one, my God they have to go. And do a decent interior other than for truck cheese!
